How Office 2013 Can Improve Organizations

Software will always play an integral part to how a business functions as an entire body. Getting Office 2013 Home and Business up and running on those machines or upgrading every PC to Windows 8 may be a good example of staying up to date on the latest technology. Of course, Office 2013 has already stuck with many people and there are several reasons. Some of those reasons include the end of support for Windows XP service pack 3 and many organizations that shift to Windows 7 may want to upgrade their MS Office suite together with it.

Of course, Microsoft has been shrewd enough to realize that the essentials are not enough to convince someone to move from Office 2010 to the 2013 version. Some people actually love 2010 and that iteration of the software is already very good, knowing it has the Backstage view and all. By this year, people should already be settled in to this version of the productivity platform and there are several reasons why.

*Faster data gathering

Data is easily culled from different Office clients and different devices can be monitored with Office 2013. This allows people on admin tasks to know real time information about how clients are doing, the files they are perusing and the different custom functions that they apply to the app. If migration is an issue, then there are tools to monitor these as well. The Office Telemetry Dashboard found in Excel 2013 is associated with a database that supersedes the tools used in Office 2010. The OCCI was one of these tools.

*Working better with remote clients

Using click to run, you can easily install streams and let other users access certain features in real time while they are being streamed. Installation does not have to be waited for. Of course, this was in 2010 but the enhancements to this feature allow for a much larger scope in terms of deployment.

*Being able to use Office

Perhaps you are a worker who telecommutes and you would like to use your MS Office suite right then and there. This is what allows you to have maximum flexibility. The app is not installed per se on your PC but you should be able to stream it live.

These are just some of the ways SMEs can benefit from using Office 2013 Home and Business. Its functionality can help you if you are willing to invest in getting the suite.
